dude, speed is not my drug

So? The hyperactivity? They warned me about? It's like, happening? And stuff? But my body is, like, not as active as my brain is and I can't do much that requires getting up? So I'm like, offering to redesign Dennis' web site? And he's like (paraphrase) You have crazy-eyes and are manic and are not to touch the site right now because you are babbling and not making any sense and bouncing and (ok, he stopped talking a few minutes ago. This is me being in slight overdrive). I'm trying to knit but it doesn't go FAST enough. Also? Jittery.

Come back later for the inevitable crash.

Once you have the giant inflatable holy family, you have to complete the set:

well, it probably wasn't a very good star, anyway

This WiseEeyore is part of a larger Pooh beanie nativity. In case you're wondering, Pooh is Mary. The part of the baby Jesus is played by Piglet. Commence boggling now.

these three kings of orient are...melting

In honor of Epiphany, I'm going to finish off the cavalcade of bad nativities with a few of the dumber wisemen I've come across.

It would be sort of fun to mix these mag-i-cicles in with a more traditional desert-based set.

stupid lungs

So, you know how I was all sick over New Year's and couldn't go out? Well, I haven't gotten any better, despite taking a metric buttload of antibiotics, so I went to the doctor today, and I have pneumonia. How fun is that? Not at all, as it turns out.

Bleh.

I have some new meds to take tonight, which have side effects which may include: hyperactivity, overeating, dizziness, and flushed skin. I'm kind of hoping for the hyperactivity one, since that Christmas tree really needs to come down and I've been trying to just do it With My Mind but it's not working. Each branch has to go back in a little wax-paper sleeve; I guess it keeps the aluminum from tarnishing or getting crushed. The kitty will be sad to see the tree go, since she has rather enjoyed batting at the lowest ornaments. It spins slowly enough for her to really get interested. I could use some hyperactivity right about now, indeed.

why it's good to have secret passwords

I redecorated Dennis' blog in honor of his birthday. I'm so happy that he was born! (mayhem is archived here)
