So far so good. I picked up my rental Jetta today, and then went to the body shop where my car is. Where my car is now, anyway. I was so out of it Wednesday night that I didn't bother to find out details like who was towing my car and where. I had to call the police dept. and have them look it up. I somehow managed to do this without saying, "Dude, where's my car?"
The good news is, unless there are big surprises when they take the car apart, it's not likely to be totaled. They're guessing about $8k in damage. So I'm hopeful.
I'm still hurting, so I am going to the dr this afternoon. My neck and shoulders and arms hurt, so I can't even use all of this down time for knitting.
It's going to be a pretty low-impact weekend, I think.
