 Isaac had a lousy day. He had one bottle feeding where he took a whole bunch of milk, but it took a long time and pretty much wrecked him for the rest of the day.
It's so hard because everyone in the nicu has an idea or plan for how to get him to eat, so every time a shift changes, we have to listen to a new set of ideas for what we can be doing differently. Of course, no one can get him to eat consistently. So it's not a technique thing. It's a sweet little baby boy who isn't ready to eat yet.
Meanwhile, I'm still working on the nursery. The bassinet is assembled, and Gracie has surprised me by not being interested in sleeping in it. But the storage basket underneath it is another story entirely:
