I finished knitting the baby's Christmas stocking tonight. I think it came out rather well. I had to do the toe twice, and I'm still not 100% happy with my grafting, but it's pretty cute, and will hold lots and lots of stuff.
I'll embroider his name and 2006 on the blank part after he's born.
The pattern is by Annie's Woolens, and the yarn is Creative Focus by Nashua. It's a very nice wool/alpaca blend. Which means it sheds little bits of alpaca. Shedding yarn + knitting while wearing a small camisole + anti-itch cream for my stupid heat rash = hairy goat-chest. I tried to get a photo but the alpaca hair didn't show up. You'll just have to take my word for it. It was quite impressive.
