Dennis isn't moving too well today. He had a bad fall last night at a concert; it was at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, which is made of concrete. Concrete hurts. He mis-judged a step and went down hard. Fortunately, RockMed was there and a doctor checked him out. His ankle is sprained, and he's in a lot of pain today from all the places that hit the concrete, but he's going to be fine. RockMed saved him a trip to the emergency room (yes, I made a donation this morning) and he was able to drive home, since his left foot is the bad one. Poor thing.
He had originally planned to wear the gold Elvis suit I made him last year, but decided not to because of the heat. I reminded him of that last night, and he agreed that it would have made the whole experience that much weirder, especially being taken out of the concert in a wheelchair. We then wondered if he would have been the first Elvis wheeled out of a Flaming Lips show. I'm guessing maybe not.
